Django was never claimed from the pound. From what we gathered; he lived a on a chain most of his life and wasn't properly social. He is loving life with his new family off the chain!
Koda was originally adopted from an OKC shelter, given away by his family, and dumped by his new family. He was found starving to death on the side of the highway. He is with a new family who will never let him down again.
Colt was absolutely terrified in animal control and nearly deemed unadoptable. With a little time and tempting cat food, we gained his trust and sent him with a family that will cherish him forever.
Brutus was threatened to be shot if he wasn't taken in ASAP. We scooped him up and he turned out to be one of the best dogs we had ever had in the rescue. We traveled to New Mexico and he went home with his new family in California.
Lex was dumped with his siblings at the lake in Skiatook. We were notified and took them all in. They found wonderful families!
