We are so excited you are thinking of adding a new pet to your family, and that you are considering adopting through Skiatook Paws and Claws Animal Rescue. We encourage you, and all family members, to sit down and read this application carefully. We strive to make the best decisions possible for each of our animals, so we hope you too won’t take this decision lightly. The commitment to a pet will extend many years and will need time invested in training, socializing, care, and love.

Adoption Fees
Cats
Kitten < 6 months: $115
Adult > 6 months: $70
Dogs > 25lbs
Puppy < 6 months: $285
Adult > 6 months: $185
Dogs < 25lbs
Puppy < 6 months: $335
Adult > 6 months: $260
*All cat adoption fees include:
Spay/Neuter, Shots current to age, Dewormed, Combo test FeIv/Fiv, Flea & Tick prevention, and Microchip.
*All dog adoption fees include:
Spay/Neuter, Shots current to age, Dewormed, Heartworm test > 6 months, Flea & Tick prevention,
Heartworm prevention, and Microchip.
Adoption Application
All applicants must meet the following criteria:

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must own home or have landlord approval

Must have a valid ID with current address
-
Agree to a home visit when appropriate

Must have a good reference from current veterinarian

ALL current pets must be spayed/neutered
-
ALL current pets must be up to date on all vaccines
-
ALL current pets must be current on heartworm prevention

Sign a legally binding adoption contract upon adoption

Transport fees will apply.

You are able to pick up animals in Skiatook or you may meet us on the route to Maine (or other transports).
